Letter 110: Diodorus waits for an embassy to summon him, but Procopius says no one is coming.

You mock my silence, but I cannot endure your arrogance. Because of it, perhaps, you think you will seem impressive if you appear to me only after a very long time. You probably imagine me saying again and again, "When will the fine man come to me, the man sweet to see, the one who hides the Sirens with his pleasures, the one who neglects his homeland in order to save Caesar's city?"
